The headwinds thru West Virginia were considerable....30 to 40 mph. Farmland in the midwest is flat but beautiful. Long days, but we're making progress. We're in Rock Island, Il. tonight and heading for South Dakota tomorrow.

You seem to indicate you are in a boat, not an RV with the "head winds" comment. I know the bus gets push around, but it sounded nautical.

I tried to send you a message yesterday, but I think it was blown away in the wind! What a surprise in the US Open! Hope your travels are smoother and rain free. Rock Island is an interesting place. Safe travels.
